Part of the international Skeptics in the Pub movement, Leeds Skeptics if a vibrant community of thinkers who come together once a month to discuss areas of science, philosophy and public debate.
Each event begins with a guest speaker presenting a talk on a specific topic, which is then followed by an open debate with the audience, and, of course, all of this is done in a pub. From time to time the group has also undertaken larger events and public awareness. All events are free to attend. Find out more at the Leeds Skeptics website.
After five years Leeds Skeptics successfully grew into a fully self-supporting organisation and has now separated into an independent group.
